Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using www.lentshouse.org (the "Site"), operated by Lent's House Inc. ("Lent's House"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. About Lent's House
Lent's House Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 39-3608398) registered in the State of Oregon. Information on this Site is for general informational, educational, and fundraising purposes and does not constitute medical, legal, tax, or financial advice.
3. Donations
All donations are voluntary and, except as required by law, non-refundable. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law. A contemporaneous written acknowledgment is provided for gifts of $250 or more, in compliance with IRS Publication 1771. Donations are processed by our third-party platform Zeffy; their terms also apply.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and the Lent's House name — is owned by or licensed to Lent's House Inc. and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use any content without prior written permission, except short, attributed excerpts for noncommercial education or news reporting.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Site for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) upload or transmit any malicious code; or (e) interfere with the operation or security of the Site.
6. User submissions
Any feedback, suggestion, or content you submit is non-confidential, and you grant Lent's House a royalty-free, perpetual license to use it for our mission.
7. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LENT'S HOUSE INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lent's House Inc. from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
